AbilOT NT is an Occupational Therapy Service built upon a wealth of experience and local knowledge grown from over 17 years working in the Northern Territory.

We are committed to providing a high quality service which is reliable, accessible and responsive to each client’s needs.

We specialise in remote practice, disability support services and Indigenous health.

We have a client centred approach.

Our therapy is driven by what is most important to you.

We will work with you to set and achieve goals which are meaningful to you.

Cooperation with other professionals, family and caregivers are important in a holistic approach to therapy.

We recognise the importance of teamwork and will work with your other supports to provide a coordinated approach to your therapy.

AbilOT NT strives to provide a service which is culturally responsive.

We aim to provide therapy services which are respectful of, and relevant to, the health beliefs and practices, culture, and linguistic needs of the diverse populations and communities within the NT.

We value diversity and inclusion.

We actively support and promote self-determination.

We believe that the preservation of dignity, self-respect and individual rights enables individuals to live, work and participate in their chosen community.

AbilOT NT recognises all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first Australians and Traditional Custodians of Australia.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land in which we live, learn and work. We pay our respects to all Elders, past, present and future.
